Peer Reviewer Guidelines

Global Insight Journal values the important contribution of reviewers in maintaining the academic quality, credibility, originality, and ethical standards of published research. Reviewers play a central role in the editorial process by providing independent, expert, and constructive assessments of submitted manuscripts.

The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process wherever possible. Reviewers are requested to evaluate manuscripts objectively, confidentially, and professionally, without being influenced by the author’s identity, institution, nationality, gender, academic position, or personal background.

When to Accept Invitation

Reviewers should accept an assignment only when they possess core subject expertise matching the research domain and have adequate time to deliver a rigorous, constructive assessment within the specified deadline framework. Review loops actively sustain the monthly issue publication cycle.

When to Decline Invitation

Reviewers must promptly decline if the topic falls outside their expertise, timelines cannot be satisfied, or they identify any competing personal, financial, institutional, or collaborative conflict of interest. In such scenarios, suggesting alternate qualified peer experts is highly encouraged.

Confidentiality & Security Protections

All manuscript files received for review are treated as highly confidential assets. Reviewers must not disclose, copy, distribute, or share text content with unauthorized entities outside the active editorial loop.

Strict Restriction: Manuscripts must never be uploaded to public repositories, external search web pages, or third-party generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools without explicit written board clearance. Draft documents and metadata records must be deleted securely upon complete processing.

Manuscript Evaluation Blueprint

Reviewers are requested to construct balanced, evidence-based evaluations based on these diagnostic checkpoints:

• Structural Metadata Checks Verify if the title accurately tracks content text fields, check if abstract lengths (150–300 words) mirror findings cleanly, and audit keyword indexing relevance.
• Introduction & Design Examine if the research problem is clearly stated, check literature integration for explicit research gaps, and confirm that the methodology is replicable and valid.
• Findings & References Confirm that results match data evidence strings, verify captions for all visual charts/tables, check APA 7th referencing layout consistency, and log ethical consent proofs.
Flagging Ethical Misconduct Concerns

Reviewers must notify the Editor immediately if they identify any potential ethical issues during active evaluation cycles. Reviewers should focus on supplying objective verification links rather than issuing direct accusations. Flagged concerns include:

• Plagiarism Overlap
• Duplicate Submissions
• Data Fabrication
• Falsified Figures
• Missing Consent Proofs
• Citation Manipulation
• Hidden Interest Clashes
Constructive Commentary Wording Guidelines

Comments must be objective, respectful, and free from personal criticism. Reviewers are encouraged to provide clear, actionable suggestions using neutral, professional language:

"The research objective would benefit from a clearer definition in the introduction."
"The methodology section should provide more detail regarding sample selection."
"The discussion could be strengthened by comparing findings with recent studies."
"The conclusion should explain the practical implications of findings more clearly."
Spectrum of Peer Review Recommendations

After completing the assessment, reviewers provide one of five advisory recommendation choices:

1. Accept As-Is
2. Minor Revisions
3. Major Revisions
4. Resubmit for Review
5. Outright Reject

* Final publishing choices rest exclusively with the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Board framework. Review recommendations function as crucial advisory components.
