Publication Ethics & Editorial Integrity

Global Insight Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical scholarly publishing. The journal expects all authors, editors, reviewers, editorial staff, and other individuals involved in the publication process to act with honesty, transparency, fairness, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.

This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities and expected conduct of authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher. It is intended to protect the integrity of the scholarly record and to ensure that all published research is original, reliable, ethically conducted, and responsibly communicated.

Strictly Prohibited Malpractice Boundaries

The journal maintains zero tolerance for publication malpractice. Manuscripts will be flagged and rejected immediately if they intersect any of the following parameters:

• Text Plagiarism
• Duplicate Submission
• Fabricated Datasets
• Data Falsification
• Citation Manipulation
• Hidden Interest Clashes
• Authorship Misconduct
• Copyright Infringement
Author Accountabilities

Must ensure total structural originality, provide accurate research values, clear copyright permissions, acknowledge all intellectual sources fairly, and disclose any funding arrangements or hidden competing metrics.

Reviewer Codes

Must evaluate submissions objectively, treat draft documents with strict confidentiality, flag structural weaknesses or potential text recycling, and recuse themselves immediately if an identity intersection or conflict appears.

Editorial Directives

Must execute unbiased, independent, merit-focused decisions completely unlinked to author nationality, gender, or status background. Editors protect script confidentiality and trace metadata integrity without personal commercial interests.

Plagiarism & Redundant Submission Boundaries

Authors must clearly distinguish their native derivations from external datasets. Plagiarism maps out across multiple forbidden modalities: direct copying without explicit source attribution, close text paraphrasing lacking citation, self-plagiarism text recycling, and translating existing frameworks into alternative vernacular formats without permission.

Duplicate Lockouts: Forwarding matching text fields, multi-journal overlapping files, or repetitive data streams simultaneously across independent editorial review lanes is strictly prohibited. Earlier preprint versions, conference presentations, or minor overlapping structures must be transparently disclosed during data routing.

Intellectual Authorship Qualifications

Authorship metrics must strictly correspond to authentic structural conceptualization, active design execution, data parsing, draft validation, and ultimate baseline accountability. Profiles providing only general supervision, administrative tracking keys, translation edits, or financing streams must be listed within an Acknowledgements block rather than the author catalog. Unethical formats including guest, gift, honorary, or ghost profiles are completely restricted.

Human Participant Ethical Clearances

Research targeting human participants, personal interview files, health records, or sensitive community tracking must be executed with institutional review board (IRB) ethical clearances. Manuscripts must transparently declare:

• Institutional Review Board Name
• Verified Informed Consent Log
• Privacy & Anonymity Safeguards

* Identifiable personal indicators or participant profiles must never be released without complete written authorization keys.

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Restrictions

Authors hold uncompromised responsibility over data integrity boundaries. Artificial intelligence tools can never be listed as co-authors because they cannot accept legal liability, satisfy conflicts, or verify result metrics. AI deployment must be limited to baseline translation modifications or language polishing. Fabricating result figures, forging data loops, or inventing reference indexes using automated tools will trigger an immediate structural block.

Spectrum of Corrective Editorial Actions

When ethical deviations, citation stuffing, or data integrity claims are raised, the Editorial Office executes systematic investigation routines based on severity scales:

1. Clarification Request
2. Erratum / Correction
3. Expression of Concern
4. Document Retraction
5. Mandatory Institutional & Funding Agency Notification Escapes
Complaints and Procedural Appeals

Stakeholders can forward ethics concerns or plagiarism claims with complete backing evidence directly to the Editorial Desk for rapid, confidential assessment. Authors can appeal processing outcomes if they show verified procedural flaws or board conflict concerns. Appeals must stay focused strictly on procedural tracking parameters rather than basic stylistic disagreements.
